Reynaers’ state of the art training centre offers a sleek and innovative space for industry professionals.

The new training centre, located in Birmingham’s Northfield, opened in 2017, and has already welcomed more than 800 guests through its doors. Following a successful year of growth in the UK, in both commercial and residential markets, Reynaers has invested £6 million in its new Knowledge Centre, which includes the impressive training facility.

Offering an ultra-modern showroom, training centres for fabricators and installers and CPD for architects, the facilities allow industry professionals to keep up to date with the very latest in Reynaers’ striking range of aluminium systems. Developing skills and understanding of the products, how they are fitted and the benefits that clients can gain from choosing specific products, Reynaers offers practical and theoretical training to ensure products are always manufactured and installed to the highest of standards.

The eye-catching façade of the new HQ in Birmingham encases an impressive 7,800m2 of space, allowing for Reynaers to increase their stock holding capacity by 200%, therefore reducing lead times on trade orders.

Paul Kent, senior training officer from Reynaers said: “We have a whole range of Reynaers courses for fabricators and installers, including product-specific training, software and practical manufacturing training too. We limit the number of people on each course to a maximum of eight, so that we can provide a personal, friendly service. We can also present bespoke training days and updates for any new requirements to suit our customers’ needs.”

Reynaers continues to develop its extensive range of products, which sees growing demand for training courses. The most recent additions include the SL 68, which has been designed to meet the needs of the UK residential windows market, offering ultra-slim frames, a Window Energy Rating of A++ and industry-leading performance. The slimline casement window system boasts Uw values down to 1.0W/m2K, Secured by Design accreditation and PAS24 security.

Meanwhile, the CP 130, which is a highly insulated lift and slide patio sliding window and door system, meets the utmost requirements of insulation, stability and safety. The system utilises a special corner solution which eliminates the use of any fixed corner elements, making it ideal for rooms with a view. This allows for a clear continuity between indoor and outdoor spaces. CP 130 is available with various opening possibilities and the low threshold option offers a solution to improve building accessibility.

This robust system allows the construction of large sliding windows and doors with a vent weight up to 300kg. It also offers a slimline middle section. Additionally, CP 130 can comply with burglar resistance class 2, offering a safe and secure solution, accredited by Secured by Design.

Reynaers’ third trade offering, the CF 68 system, combines design, comfort and space efficiency. The wide range of possibilities to unfold numerous glass panes makes the borders between the interior and exterior vanish.

The folding principle of this high quality system allows customers to combine thermal comfort and transparency. The bifolding doors come in every colour and finish, offering a different colour for the interior and the exterior. CF 68 guarantees a complete freedom in design as the system can be used to fold open to the inside or to the outside, from one up to seven opening leafs, removing all borders.

Furthermore, for the installer there is the additional benefit of a unique adjustable side jamb which allows greater ease of installation.

In order to meet all comfort and aesthetic requirements, CF 68 is highly insulated and is available in four different threshold solutions: from high performance, to even flush thresholds. With regard to safety, the system is available with a burglar resistance class 2, offering a high level of safety for every home. It has also gained Secured by Design accreditation.
