Unique Window Systems Ltd has continued their significant investment, on the back of huge machinery upgrades in 2016 and 2017, with a state-of-the-art trade counter and showroom.

Unique offer a wide array of fenestration products, from Unifold – Unique’s very own aluminium bi-fold door system to contemporary aluminium windows. Unique identified a larger trade counter and showroom as the next natural step for the Leicester-based fabricator for them to suitably showcase the great choice their prospective and existing customers have available to choose from, as well as utilise an expert team of sales staff who can offer excellent customer service to customers.

The trade counter also stores a great range of useful building products perfect for installers. PVCu and glass cleaner, silicone sealant and a great choice of hardware options are just a small selection of the products now available at Unique Window Systems trade counter.

Unique Window Systems will be running an open day on Monday 21st May 2018, to officially launch their showroom. The day will include special offers on a range of products, goodie bag giveaways, including travel mugs, measuring tapes and pens and pencils, as well as free food offerings to all visitors. The day will run all day from 8am to 5pm and is located at Unique’s new address, which is Unit 2, 33 Menzies Road, Leicester LE4 0JL. With a great location, just outside the city centre, Unique are aiming for their trade counter to be a one-stop shop for local builders and fitters to visit for all their fenestration and building product needs.

Unique’s new showroom exemplifies the dramatic expansion of the company over the past several years, with the financial success of Unique allowing Sunil and Atul Patel, joint owners of the company, to invest straight back into the business. 2016 saw Unique acquire an additional factory to solely house their aluminium production operations and this was accompanied by significant investment in the company’s aluminium machinery, which included a full suite of Emmegi equipment for the 43,000 sq. ft. space.

State-of-the-art production space and machinery has allowed Unique Window Systems to prove themselves as trailblazers in both the commercial and residential aluminium markets, offering several aluminium solutions including the hybrid WarmCore system from Synseal Group. Unique fabricates the innovative WarmCore system in their aluminium factory and the system has proven to be an incredibly successful product for Unique in the trade, commercial and new-build sectors due to its aluminium aesthetics combined with the performance of a distinctive PVCu thermal core, in turn, delivering impressive U-values for customers.

Last year, Unique elevated their PVCu production, with an investment that equates to over £2.5 million with a full suite of Promac machinery, including a second BDM Cutting and Machining Centre. This machinery investment is to improve efficiency, reliability and the quality of Unique’s fenestration products for their customers so whilst they increase their capacity capabilities, the condition of their products will continue to be of an outstanding standard.

Unique’s sales team moved into new offices across from their factories for both departments to be dedicated to their respective operations team. This has streamlined both the operations and sales departments with a clear space for each division to carry out their duties whilst still in close proximity with one another.

Unique now have a dedicated Trade Counter Manager who is on-hand to offer expert advice and support to customers. Wayne Morton has been appointed Trade Counter Manager at Unique Window Systems; an experienced manager with over 15 years of industry knowledge to utilise for any queries customers may have.

James Raven, Trade Sales Director at Unique Window Systems, said:

“The devotion to an improvement in product quality following such a huge investment in both our aluminium and PVCu machinery is evidence of our commitment to our customers and our intent to deliver a consistently excellent product and aid our customer’s growth as businesses.”

James continues, “Ultimately, we’re a volume business and over 2,000 windows are consistently coming out of our factories every week, with capacity now upwards of 3,000 frames after our investment last year – you can’t do that and sustain quality without a high level in automation. The investment we have made in machinery has allowed us to guarantee consistent quality.”

Unique Window Systems’ trade counter and showroom is already open, so if you can’t wait to visit on the 21st May, why not pop down and visit now at Unit 2, 33 Menzies Road in Leicester (just off Parker Drive).
