The industry’s premier built environment is here, with just one day to go until installers and independent tradespeople are let loose on the exhibitors, workshops, seminars and networking at this year’s Build Show, sponsored by Easy-Trim.

As Birmingham’s NEC prepares to open its doors up to over 35,000 UK Construction Week (UKCW) visitors, between 9 – 11 October, installers and fabricators can make the most of their visit by planning their time at the show now.

Dip into the future

Prepare for tomorrow today by soaking up the ‘Future of Construction’ theme and planning your products, strategies and connections for the future.

With more than 100 product launches at the roofing, cladding and insulation; offsite; doors, windows and glass; and tools and health and safety sections at the Build Show, visitors will leave with their inspiration ignited.

B J Waller is exclusively launching the new BUVA IsoStone threshold; Tuff Waterproofing is launching Tuff Tech Pro VP/V, a new seamless and waterproof polyurethane membrane; Velux is demoing the first smart window and curved glass rooflight; and OnLevel is revealing its new balcony system, set to rival the popular Juliet SKYFORCE system.

For cutting-edge technology and a sneak-peek ahead, the Future of Construction Hub immerses visitors in digital construction, 3D printing, robotics, AI and VR, augmented reality and modern methods of construction. Alongside this, Birmingham City University is presenting its latest academic research and Coventry University is demonstrating how it’s preparing the professionals of the future with its construction simulator.

Canon is offering visitors an immersive experience of their own work, asking visitors to bring their own design files on USB to see it brought into a different dimension.

The Innovation Trail is also taking visitors on a tour of the latest products and systems such as Containex, Danosa, Eave, Hekim Yapi, Geason Training, Kedel, Max Europe, SFL Mobile Radio and Velux.
