The new MD of Caldwell, world-leading window hardware manufacturer, wants to build on the company’s reputation for exceptional balance and friction stay products.

Ken Wilson joins the business from a major UK window and door fabricator with both residential and commercial expertise – expertise that will prove vital in his new role at Caldwell.

“I know what it’s like to run a major window and door business – and what fabricators want from a supplier,” Ken comments.

“It’s simple. They want quality products, delivered on time and manufactured to a reliable standard.

“They want to work with a company that’s at the cutting edge of innovation, constantly looking for ways to improve the products they provide.

“And they want a supplier that goes above and beyond the call of duty to support its customers – seeing them as valued partners, not just entries in an order book. The best businesses don’t forget the basics.

“Caldwell has all that – and under my leadership, I want it to improve on those core areas even further.

“Ultimately, the aim is for people to look at Caldwell and say, ‘that’s the world’s leading manufacturer of friction stays and balances.”

Founded in Rochester, New York over 130 years ago, today Caldwell is a world-leading window hardware supplier.

Its portfolio of friction stays, spring and spiral balances and other window hardware products is one of the most extensive on the market, and its offerings are used by major fenestration businesses right around the globe.
