One of Britain’s leading Aluminium Systems companies is investing to ensure its customers continue to thrive despite tightening environmental standards.

On June the 15th, the new changes to Part L of the Building Regulations comes into force. It’s the latest in a series of government measures designed to improve thermal efficiency throughout Britain’s built environment.

As a result, windows, doors and an array of other building products will be required to demonstrate even greater thermal efficiency to be approved for use.

However, Doncaster-based Exlabesa Architecture has been following the changes closely, and is fully prepared to help its customers adapt to shifting regulations.

“Our highest priority has always been to offer high quality, fabricator-friendly window and door systems that meet or exceed current standards,” comments National Sales Director Patrick Burke.

“That’s not changed – and in dialogue with our customers, we’ve prepared an array of outstanding new products that will be in full compliance with Part L.

“These include a bifolding door, an inline patio door suite, a 75mm flush-fit casement window suite and a balustrade range, all of which we’ll be exhibiting at the upcoming FIT Show.

“Like all the products we sell in Britain, these have been designed and manufactured in Doncaster. We’re proud to make world-class products right here in the UK.

“From mid-June, most Exlabesa systems will be in compliance with Part L and able to achieve a U-Value of 1.4W/m2K utilising a standard double-glazed unit.

“As the government gears up for the introduction of its Future Homes Standard, an ambitious plan for drastically improving thermal efficiency around the country, regulations will undoubtedly continue to change in the years ahead.

“At Exlabesa, we’re firmly committed to ensuring that our products keep pace with these developments, and offering our customers quality, cost-effective systems that help their businesses grow.”
