At an event to mark a phenomenal 130 years in business, hardware experts Caldwell have unveiled a set of core values designed to guide its development in the decades ahead.
These include commitments to safety, integrity, accountability, collaboration and innovation. Sales Director Tim Ferkin explains the thinking behind the rebranding exercise.
“Not many businesses reach 50 years, let alone 130 – and when you do, you can’t help but reflect on where you’ve come from, and where you want to go next. What kind of business do we want to be in another ten, fifty, 130 years’ time?
“That’s why we decided to go back to basics – to drill down and find the fundamental values that have got us this far and want to strengthen in the future.”
The result was eight core values, which the company explains as follows:
