When Instagram cleaning sensation Lindsay Turford – known as dazlincleaning – needed to upgrade the front and back doors at her home in Worcestershire, she naturally wanted the new ones to bring a touch of sparkle. And Lindsay was so impressed when she saw the collection of composite doors from Virtuoso Doors that she knew she’d finally found the perfect doors for her 3-bedroom home.
“We’ve lived in the house for 12 years now and the original timber doors were past it. It was time for a change, but I’m notoriously choosy and didn’t want to pick the wrong doors,” says the cleaning guru, who has a staggering 40,000 followers on Instagram. “I’d been sharing my story on social media and heard about the composite doors from Virtuoso Doors. As soon as I saw them, I knew that these were the doors for me!”
Lindsay immediately placed an order for a new front and back door – the Kingston A2 cottage style composite door in Pebble, which is a Virtuoso superior colour, for the front and Virtuoso’s Crafton composite door in white for the back. She shared her story on Instagram and attracted more than 11,000 views from followers when the doors were installed.
“My followers love to hear all about my cleaning hacks and tips for the home and they were really enthusiastic when I did the big reveal of my new Virtuoso doors. The doors are superb looking and they have made a huge difference to my home. We wanted our doors to offer greater performance and security and you can tell by the quality of these doors that they will do just that.”
Lindsay’s installer Lee Prescot of MLW Installations had never fitted a Virtuoso door before but was impressed with the construction of the doors and the ease with which he fitted them. “As soon as Lee opened the packaging, he remarked on how solid the doors felt and described fitting them was a breeze,” Lindsay adds.
Tony Craggs, managing director at Virtuoso Doors, has followed every stage of the Instagram star’s composite door journey. He said: “We’re thrilled that Lindsay is so pleased with her new doors. We put a great deal of care and attention into crafting every one of our doors, so it’s brilliant for us to get the seal of approval from Lindsay – she’s clearly a very discerning customer!”
And as a devoted fan of natural cleaning products, Lindsay was certainly delighted to hear that her new doors will only need a wipe over with a damp cloth to keep them looking sparkling clean for years to come.
