Tape, silicone and sealant experts tremco illbruck are welcoming an experienced new Area Sales Manager.
Scott Hurry joins the firm after roles at some of the sector’s most respected roofing, flooring and other construction product suppliers.
Beginning his career as an Internal Sales Executive at SIG Insulation, Scott went on to become an Area Sales Manager for flooring specialists Cellecta, then a technical advisor at flat roof manufacturers Icopal.
Now, he’s bringing that expertise to tremco illbruck, where he’ll be tasked with spreading the word about their vast and ever-growing product range.
“The role of an Area Sales Manager is extremely varied,” Scott comments. “You’re the ‘face’ of the company – your customers’ first point of contact.
“It’s your responsibility to establish new relationships and nurture new ones. You’ve got to support colleagues in other areas of the business. And above all, you’ve got to wave the company flag – and that’s what I’ll be doing at tremco illbruck.
“In this kind of job, no day is the same, and that’s why I love it. One day, I could be customer-facing. The next, I’ll be getting product training. Then I might be on site, helping contractors, or I’m out hunting for new prospects.
