Ultraframe Flat Roof now even faster to fit

Ultraframe has enhanced its Flat Roof system with the addition of a new rapid rail system, designed to make fitting quicker and easier.

The rapid rail system is factory fitted to the Flat Roof perimeter OSB fascia and upstand, meaning there are less parts, fixings and set out requirements, equating to a saving of up to half a day on each installation, along with a simpler install.

Commenting on the recent enhancement to the Flat Roof system, Ultraframe Product Manager for Solid Roofs, Mark Bowler, said: “We are committed to continually improving our range of products and this change has been introduced based on feedback from installers relating to the fitting of the joist hangers. The rapid rail system not only saves valuable time on site, but also means that the process of installing our Flat Roof is now even simpler.”

The Ultraframe Flat Roof is an extremely versatile system, having been designed for use on conservatories, orangeries or extensions, and is supplied as an integrated solution with lanterns or flat skylights. Available in unlimited widths and projections of up to 5m, the system also provides solutions for free standing garden homes and compatibility with bungalows and partial walls.

The incredible strength of the Flat Roof means it is strong enough to span up to 5.6m unsupported above bi-fold or sliding doors. Unlimited widths are now also available when supported by a hup! wall, structural post, brick wall or brick pillar.

Concluding, Mark said: “Our Flat Roof system is a true hassle-free solution for many types of projects, with everything taken care of in a single order, and is now even faster and easier thanks to the rapid rail system. Not only is the Flat Roof fast to fit, but it is also fast to project manage thanks to its recently achieved Stroma and Assent Building Regulations approval.”
