Future strength

Cyncly’s Sales Manager Greg Beachim explains how a rebrand is much more than just changing the letterhead.

When the Cyncly brand was created in September 2022, it created a global software powerhouse with 2,300+ employees and 70,000+ customers across 100+ countries.

The Window Designer suite of window design processing software now forms part of that global brand, and we’ll eventually drop the First Degree Systems name altogether.

Now part of the window, door and glass vertical in the UK, we are very proud of what we have achieved as First Degree Systems. But being part of a large organisation like Cyncly will offer so many benefits – it’s not just a case of putting a pretty banner over a collection of smaller brands and logos.

Cyncly actually brings together more than 35 years of industry experience to provide specialised visualisation, sales, manufacturing and content solutions. Cyncly businesses span across kitchen, bathroom, furniture, flooring and windows, doors and glass industries with operations in North America, Europe, South America, Asia Pacific and Africa – and represent spaces for living.

As we move forward, and as the Cyncly brand becomes more prevalent, the window, door and glass industry in the UK will get access to new and innovative software. Some of these may be existing platforms in other markets in other territories, or they may be under development by teams of engineers working with what would have been different companies.

Actually, in the window, door and glass vertical, we have more than 60 developers, which allows us to plan research and development projects far in advance. And because we can draw on that wealth of experience, we can quickly meet the demands of an ever-changing environment.

What we mustn’t forget here though, is that Cyncly’s expertise extends out far beyond design processing and optimisation solutions for the manufacturing space. Cyncly is focused on the different spaces within the home, and how the homeowner’s buying journey is simplified from initial enquiry all the way through to installation.

As software designers within the window door and glass manufacturing space, we now have access to opportunities that were never possible when we operated on our own.

Already we are seeing the development of websites and user journeys that link up the separate brands and create the opportunity for cross-selling. We can also give our customers access to new markets that they wouldn’t have thought possible even five years ago.

Nor is this pie-in-the-sky stuff – we are already seeing real tangible developments. For example, our SQL back-end is about to come online, which will offer customers who take out a subscription licence many efficiency benefits, and we are close to launching a new user interface, which promises to improve the user experience.

The new Cyncly brand certainly looks and feels exciting, but it is much more than that. Cyncly is also a statement of intent, and a promise to offer customers new and exciting opportunities to improve efficiencies and profitability.
