Industry Outlook: Window Ware’s Perspective on 2025 Product Trends

Richard Bryant, Commercial Director at Window Ware, shares what he thinks is in store with his top five product trends set to shape the industry in 2025.

As we move further into 2025, the window and door industry, as usual, continues to evolve at a remarkable pace. From what we’re seeing in the market, there are five key product trends that are poised to really define the year ahead.

Flush sash products look set to maintain their strong growth trajectory, and the rising popularity of our Regal Hardware range is a direct reflection of this trend. It offers fabricators the perfect solution for creating windows and doors that combine modern performance with traditional aesthetics.

Customers continue to favour heritage aluminium for period projects and building refurbishments, drawn in by their ‘steel look’ design, slim profiles and typically grid-like glass panes which all add to its aesthetic appeal. To meet this demand, we’re excited to offer our new Regal Hardware knurled door and window handles, which are designed to perfectly complement these increasingly sought-after products.

Vertical sliding sash windows, another product with heritage appeal, are poised for a strong year. For many years, traditional timber sash windows were replaced with standard casement windows. However, modern vertical sliding windows, manufactured from PVC or aluminium and virtually maintenance-free, offer an excellent way to restore a building’s authenticity. To support this trend, our hardware collection includes all the components fabricators need to produce authentic-looking sash windows that meet contemporary performance standards.

In the door sector, we anticipate that inline sliding patio doors will continue to gain market share, as their versatility makes them a great fit for most homes. Whether it’s a modest 2-pane set-up or an impressive large-span installation, our Glide Hardware range, specified on the Kӧmmerling PremiLine patio door system, provides everything fabricators need. This includes heavy-duty tandem rollers and soft-close mechanisms, the perfect upgrade to any inline patio door.

We’re also seeing a lot of excitement around next-generation entrance doors for 2025. For example, Regalead have launched their engineered door solutions to open up new possibilities with PVC doors and every month there are more companies advertising aluminium entrance doors.

It’s shaping up to be a dynamic year ahead, and Window Ware is ready. As the market evolves, our extensive range of hardware solutions is evolving right alongside it. We’re committed to ensuring that whatever direction the industry takes, we’ll be providing the high-quality hardware our customers need to meet every demand.
