Jack Aluminium Systems continues to build on the success of its iD30 internal glazing system with the introduction of a rebated frame profile and a suite of new locking options, further cementing its position as one of the most adaptable systems on the market.
“From day one, iD30 was developed to offer something truly flexible and unique,” explains Andy Short, Managing Director at Jack Aluminium Systems. “Now, with a rebated door profile, latch and locking option added to the mix, our customers can deliver everything from minimal partitions to more traditionally functioning internal doors.”
The rebated frame allows the door to close into a stepped groove in the frame – similar to how most internal timber doors in UK homes operate, helping to seal perimeter gaps, and support improved acoustic performance in residential and office settings.
Key points:
• Offer a more traditional door setup
• Suitable for applications needing improved acoustic performance
• Have the doors with or without existing magnetic system.
Three new features now available:
• Latch only
• Deadbolt only
• Latch and deadbolt combination.
These additions give fabricators and specifiers more control over door security and functionality, whether for offices, meeting rooms, or internal partitions that require a locking option.
Heritage styling developments
iD30 also includes a slim heritage-style offering, with a slim lockbox and butt hinges already in use. A full heritage specification is currently in development and will include:
• A working lock housing to support a 90mm backset lock
• A comprehensive range of heritage-style handles
This positions iD30 as one of the few systems that can fluidly transition between modern minimalism and classic industrial or heritage aesthetics – ¬all while using the same underlying framework, hardware and accessories.
iD30 supports a broad range of internal door types including:
• Single and double hinged doors
• Sliding doors (single and double, across frame, across wall, within pockets)
• Pivot doors
• Folding doors
• Bi-fold doors (up to 6 panes)
• Fixed screen arrangements
All configurations are built around the same profile set, simplifying stockholding and helping reduce fabrication time.
