RBS BANK ECONOMIST TO SPEAK AT THE GLAZING SUMMIT

A leading UK economist and market strategist, Neil Parker, will headline at the Glazing Summit on 12th September.

Neil is director of RBS Bank and a leading expert on UK and global macroeconomics, international finance and trade. He is a chief market strategist at NatWest Markets in Bishopsgate in the City and a key note speaker and writer.

Andrew Scott, founder of the Glazing Summit, commented;

“We are honoured to have one of Britain’s leading economists and financial experts join us and share their market insights. Neil will give his economic analysis for the UK economy post-Brexit and outline how the glazing industry will be affected by housing and the property market, consumer confidence, international markets and interest rates.

“The window, door and conservatory market is dependent on a number of external factors and whatever your views on Brexit, we import many raw materials, and this is subject to currency fluctuations and exchange rates. Neil will discuss the implications of this and how it is likely to impact system companies, glass suppliers, fabricators and installers.”

Neil Parker joins a stellar line-up of speakers that includes industry experts, world-renowned business speakers and financial experts on mergers, acquisitions and raising funds.

The Glazing Summit is the annual conference for installers, fabricators and suppliers and tackles head-on the key issues facing the industry. This year the Summit is held at the prestigious Edgbaston Stadium and Conference Centre, Birmingham.
