Swift Frame does the double with two prestigious NFA nominations

Norfolk-based uPVC fabricators Swift Frame have been nominated for not one but two prestigious awards.

The company’s efforts over 30 years in business has been recognised via nomination for two categories in the National Fenestration Awards (NFA), to be held at Doncaster Racecourse on October 28th.

Swift Frame are up for the awards of Fabricator of the Year and PVC Fabricator of the Year, having been chosen from thousands of submissions from across the UK. The day itself comprises live racing, entertainment, food and drink and networking, all leading up to the glittering awards ceremony.

The company was one of the first in the country to embrace large-scale automation and in the years the followed were about to produce large quantities of products per week, assisted by a relatively small workforce.

In addition, the company made the decision to begin extruding, allowing it to offer great value to its customers while controlling costs and quality.

Sales director Jason Scrivens said: “To be nominated for one NFA is great – to be up for two is amazing, and we’re delighted that we’ve been recognised in this way for our efforts. This year marks our 30th year in business and this is really the icing on the cake – especially if we win!”

Each Swift Frame window and door is individually manufactured to order and thoroughly inspected prior to despatch. The extrusion of profiles is produced from a new generation of lead-free compounds using calcium / zinc and organic stabilisers, which is regarded as non-toxic.

In addition to its own profile system, Swift Frame offers a range of other quality products from leading suppliers like Solidor, Optima, Spectus and Veka.

The National Fenestration Awards, the biggest in the industry, were established a decade ago to find and reward the very best people and companies in the UK fenestration sector. The awards have grown to become the biggest in the industry. The wide array of categories allows everyone who works in fenestration, whether they are CEOs or factory floor workers, to take part.
