Top fabricator, Bedfordshire Windows, has added SheerVent® to its range. An option for the S1 aluminium roof lantern, SheerVent® is designed to enhance the ventilation properties of homes without compromising on thermal efficiency.
Designed to bathe a property in natural light and offer a stunning focal point for any living space, Bedfordshire Windows’ S1 aluminium roof lantern has become one of the first roof lights in the UK to now be available with a vent option. SheerVent® can also be specialised for use on new projects and retrofitted to existing S1 installations.
The minimalist design of SheerVent® sits flush with the rafter bars and uses powered actuators that can be intelligently automated, offering excellent additional ventilation without the risk of leaks. When combined with the S1’s Thermlock® multi-chamber thermal technology, it helps to keep heating bills low, whilst deep internal bars create an ultra-strong structure for spans up to 3.2m x 6m without tie bars.
